The Vanderbilt Cup Race Committee

 Vanderbilit Cup Races Inc (VCR) is a not-for-profit organization, incorporated in the State of New York. The Board of Directors and working committees are volunteer historic motorsports enthusiasts dedicated to preserving Long Islands rich motorsports history dating back to the very beginning of motorsports in this country with the 1904 Vanderbilt Cup Race.

 The VCR working with Nassau County's Government Executives, Mitchel Field's Cradle of Aviation, the Vanderbilt Museum and other organizations intends to organize and host an annual celebration for each of the original Vanderbilit Cup Races. The ultimate goal of VCR is to bring professional sports car racing back to Long Island, where it all began. This is the fifth annual celebration of the series, honoring the 100th anniversary of the 1907 race, the race that never happened.
